Seam critical infrastructure The Port of Kalundborg and its staff play an important role every day. Our crane operators and administrative personnel help to keep society supply chains open so that groceries reach the shopping market, gasoline reaches the car and medicine reaches you.

There is low staff turnover here, and we see this as a sign that people thrive. We look after each other, and we strive to be a workplace where people want to stay.
There are many of us from Kalundborg in the house, and that can felt on proximity and unity. We are also fortunate that our colleagues outside the municipality want to move closer to become part of everyday life in Northwest Zealand.
Every morning and for lunch eats we get together and talk about big and small things. We have an annual summer party and of course a Christmas party. Often we can take our partner or family with. Our good community grows even stronger when we meet at different times – both with children in our arms and our girlfriends in our hands.
