The sales team is having growing pains.

The Port of Kalundborg's sales and communications team is growing and has been expanded to three people. Torben Rune Christensen started at the Port of Kalundborg on August 1st and will, among other things, help expand the port's customer portfolio and increase the level of activity on the quays.

With the title of Commercial Manager, Torben will play a central role in strengthening the Port of Kalundborg's commercial activities, developing new business areas and maintaining close dialogue with existing customers, potential partners and future stakeholders.

Torben has worked with sales, business development and consulting in the shipping and automotive industries, among others, for more than 20 years, and he has extensive experience in building and developing customer portfolios and creating long-term relationships that create value for all parties - something that Torben is truly passionate about.

"There is a very exciting development underway for Danish ports in connection with, among other things, the green transition that we are all facing, and I look forward to further developing the strong framework that the port already offers. For me, it is about creating good relationships and ensuring that we most effectively utilize the many opportunities that the Port of Kalundborg offers," says Torben.

With Torben's many years of experience both from inside and outside the industry, we have strengthened the sales team with some crucial competencies, and we look forward to the future.

Privately, Torben is married to Trine, and together they have 3 children and reside in Høng.
