Marketing & communication
As part of Kalundborg Port's marketing and communication with the outside world, personal data is collected, processed and stored about persons who are either recipients of Kalundborg Port's newsletter and/or in connection with the persons' use of Kalundborg Port's social media, primarily Facebook and LinkedIn. In addition, Kalundborg Port uses cookies on its website, portofkalundborg.dk
The Port of Kalundborg is the data controller for these processing operations.
The Kalundborg Port newsletter is only sent out by email to those people who have actively registered via the port's website. In this connection, the port registers the person's name and email address. This information is stored in the program that the port uses to send out the email-based newsletters. Only one employee at the port has access to the program, and access to the program is protected by login and password.
In connection with the port's social media, primarily Facebook and LinkedIn, the name and link to the person's own profile on the social media are stored, often including a profile photo. This information appears if the person on Facebook asks the port a question, or on both social media if the person comments, shares or "likes" one of the port's posts. In both cases, this only happens if the person himself/herself takes some active action. The questions that people ask the port are not publicly available to anyone other than the port and the person himself/herself. Only a single employee at the port has access to these sites, and access is protected with a login and password. The Kalundborg Port website uses cookies that store a small text file in the person's browser. IP addresses are registered. However, this requires that the person has given their consent. It is possible to delete cookies and withdraw their consent. This is done by going to "Cookies and privacy policy", where at the bottom of the text you will find a point called "Changing your consent". By clicking on this point you are given the opportunity to change your consent or withdraw it. Please also refer to the Port of Kalundborg's policy regarding cookies.
